Unit4 Hobbies 教案

Step 1. Greeting, introduce the teacher

T:Good morning, boys and girls. Shall we begin our class?

Ss: Ok.

T: Can you guess my favourite subject? You can say you like ...

Ss: you like...

T: Yes, I like English. and what’s my favorite animal?

Ss:you like...

T:Yes! I like dogs. And i like “we chat”, do you know we chat?

Ss:Yes/No

T: And can you guess my favourite hobby? Yes, I like 

reading. Now read after me.

Step2 Pretask Preparation

Talk about the teacher’s hobby and the students’

hobbies, and show the title of the passage

T: I like playing the piano, what do you like? Can you say the pictures?I like....

Ss: I like...T: like ...are all hobbies. Can you read this word?

T: Today we’ll learn Unit4 Hobbies. What does hobbies mean? A,B,C? Which one do you choose?

Ss: A what you like doing.

T: so what do you like doing? Now follow me : what do you like doing?

T: What do you like doing?

SS ;S1,S2 : What do you like doing?

T: I like playing the piano, what about you?

S2: I like ...

T: Good. Now pair work .

S12; S34 , S56

T: so she/he likes ...(板书)Look she likes playing games.

Do you like playing games?

Ss:Yes!

2. Play a game

T: ready ? Go!  Let’s say it together: She likes playing the piano.

SS: He likes playing basketball.  SS: He likes playing football.

SS: She likes drawing.  SS: She likes dancing.

SS: He likes singing.  SS: They likes watching TV.

T: Do you like watching TV?

SS: Yes.

T:Now let’s watch TV.

Step3 Whiletask Procedure 

1. Watch and circle.

T: when we watch, we should circle the children mentioned in the story. Now let’s watch.

T: so how many children are mentioned in the story? And who are they?

SS:  Mike, Tim, LiuTao, YangLing, Suhai and SuYang.

 2. Listen to the passage and know Mike and Tim’ s hobbies.

T: Oh, what’s wrong, there is something new in the circle of friends. let’s see.

T: Now let’s listen and answer Q1, what does Mike like doing?

SS: he likes playing basketball, football and drawing.

T:  let’s  and read, then answer the next questions. Is Mike good at football?

Ss: No, he isn’t.

T:  He isn’t good at football. Does it mean:  he can play football well or he can’t play football well.

S1: He can’t play football well.

T:Good. Now Q3: what does Tim like doing?

S1: Tim likes drawing.

T: How do you know?

S1: I usually draw in the park with my brother Tim.

T: draw with sb. Read after me.(板书)

T: so Mike likes ....Tim likes ...(板书)What about the other friends?

T: Now let’s repeat. Please pay attention to the rising tone, falling tone, stress, and pause tone.

3. Look at the pictures and guess LiuTao’s Hobbies.

T: Look, there are 2 new pictures,  Mike is talking about his friend Liu Tao with “we chat”. Can you look at the pictures and write?

Ss ...

T: Great!  He also likes playing table tennis. Does it mean: he likes playing table tennis,too?

S1: Yes.

T: can you read this sentence proudly? He is good at it.(做动作读、示范读)

Ss read

T: If you were Liu Tao, would you try: I am good at it.(夸张)

T: so LiuTao likes ....(板书)

T: Now let’s repeat.

 4. Read and judge to know Yang Ling’s Hobbies

T: Here comes Yang Ling’s massage. Can you read and judge?

Ss : F      Yang Ling likes reading stories.

T: Good.  Follow me :reading stories.(板书)

S: F Yang Ling has a lot of books    many/some?

A lot of =many( 板书)

T:Can you read? She has a lot of books.(示范读一遍)

T: So Yang ling likes ....(板书)

T: Now let’s repeat.

 5. Read and finish Su Hai and Su Yang’s Hobbies

T: Here are SuHai and SuYang’s massage. Can you read and fill?

S1: Su Hai likes dancing and swimming

S2: Su Yang likes watching films and swimming.

T: watch  films(板书)  repeat

T: Do you know what does“both”mean here? Please fill.

S1:Su Hai likes swimming.

S2:Su Yang likes swimming, too.

T: So Su Hai  likes ....(板书) Su Yang  likes ....(板书)

T: Now let’s repeat.

Step 6. Read together

Step4 Posttask Activities

1. Retelling and fill

T: Can you retell it according to the boarding writing.

Ss retell

 2.  Read a letter from Jay

T: What’s wrong?oh, there is a bottle. Let’s fish and read. Oh, it’s a letter from Jay, let’s read.

T: So what does Jay like doing?

What does his father like doing? And what about his mother?

Ss...

T: So can you introduce your hobbies and make friends with Jay, please finish.

Ss write and read

 3. Shake to know more friends.

T: now, boys and girls, let’s shake and know more friends.ok?

Ss enjoy the pictures of different children

T: Different people have different hobbies. Hobbies make our life colourful!

Let’s enjoy hobbies and enjoy happiness.

Step5 Evaluation

T: So boys and girls, can you finish tiking time ?

T: Can you talk about the children’s Hobbies in the text?

Can you talk about your hobbies and the others’ hobbies.

Step6 Homework

T: Now,  another new massage! Let’s see. That’s your homework today:

1. Copy the new words and phases.

2. Listen to the tape, read the dialogue.

3. Ask hobbies to make more friends.

T: There is no power now , let’s have a rest.

5A Unit4 Hobbies 教学反思

《Hobbies》是一节真实、自然、生动、有趣的小学英语课。我在组织和设计上主要有以下特点:

  1.注重学生的主体地位,实现了教师角色的转变。

我从学生的兴趣出发,从学生的生活实际出发,通过创设情景,示范教学内容,启发学生的思维,组织学生实践,培养学生的语言交际能力。教师在整个教学活动中成功地扮演了多个角色。首先,我是一个示范者,为学生展示语言结构、意义和语言运用的情景;同时我又是一个启发者,启发学生思考,引导学生想象;其次;我还是一个情景的设计者和学习的指导者,通过相册、邮册等实物展现生动、逼真的交际情景,帮助和引导学生在语境中理解语言的结构和意义;此外,我更是一名课堂活动的组织者、学生学习的激励者和促进者,通过照相机、身体语言设计情景,组织学生开展游戏和两人小组活动,给学生提供模仿、体验、实践和创造性运用语言的机会,并在活动中适时地鼓励和表扬学生,保护学生的自信心和学习的积极性,使学生学有所获。

2.注重把语言结构和语言功能有机结合,实现了从知识到能力的转变。

本课教学内容涉及关于兴趣爱好的表达方式,能够注意处理好结构与功能的关系,将语言结构的学习融于模拟的交际情景之中。我在教学的设计上采用分解难点、分步呈现、逐步扩展、层层深入的方式,注重示范质量,保证学生对语言意义的正确理解,通过各种模仿和操练活动,使学生掌握新的语言形式。

3.注重教学内容与学生的生活经验相结合,实现了学以致用的教学目标。

通过创设情景,将学习内容与学生的实际生活相结合,使学生身临其境,从而达到了学以致用的目的。让学生自由、大胆地表达自己的Hobbies,教学贴近学生的实际生活,课堂成为折射出每个学生的真实生活。

当然,在组织实施过程中还存在诸多有待完善之处:

 首先,教学环节的安排和内容的处理上还有待斟酌。其次,活动形式还不够新活,学生的参与面还不够广。另外,根据学生的实际和教材的特点,学生运用完整的句型及设计合理的句群进行班级交流的机会,还不是很多等。

  以上是我在执教完5A Unit 4《Hobbies》一课后的些许体会。小学英语课堂教学是一项复杂的工作,只有我们不断努力,不断尝试,才能使我们的英语课堂教学迈上一个新的台阶。
