一、课题

《英语三年级起点)3A Unit 8Happy New Year!A部分第一课时

 

二、目标预设

1. 认知目标

a.能听懂、会说、会拼读单词a doll, a ball, a robot.

b.能听懂、会说会读句型Whats this/that? This is for及其应答。

c.能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语Happy New Year!及其回答。

d.能流利地朗读课文并能掌握课文内容进行分角色对话表演。

2. 能力目标:

a.能听懂节日问候的日常用语并作出相应的回答。

b.能正确使用Whats this/that? This is for…询问物品和互赠礼物。

3. 情意目标:培养学生懂礼貌、乐于分享的良好品质。

 

三、教学重点、难点

1.教学重点:

a.能听懂节日问候的日常用语并作出相应的回答。

b.能正确使用Whats this/that? This is for询问物品和互赠礼物。

2教学难点理解thisthat的区别并能根据图片或实际情况正确使用。

 

四、教学过程

Step 1   Warming-up

1. 课前一分钟四人小组表演Unit 7 Would you like a ?A部分已学内容表演完后请学生评价OK./Good./Excellent.

2. T: Lets start lesson with a guessing game. Please read the words on the screen and guess what holidays they are about.

屏显图片bell, Christams tree, father ChristmasChristmas   

         boys and girls, dog, chocolateChildrens Day

         red packet, card, red coatNew Years Day

3. T: Yes. Today well talk about New Years Day. First lets enjoy a song:

Happy New Year!

   T: Boys and girls, Happy New Year! (出示日历)

(课件显示大日历,设置真实新年情境)

   与单个学生交流,互相祝福Happy New Year!并击掌以示欢庆,并适时表扬Excellent!

   T: Boys and girls, today well learn Unit 8 Happy New Year! Who can read?

   Ss: Unit 8 Happy New Year!

  

Step 2   Presentation and practice

1. T: Oh, on New Years day ,I have many gifts here.

给学生送礼物toy car, toy tiger

     This is for you,S1.

     This is for you,S2.

板书单词for和句型This is for you学生开火车读。

4.T拿出小布娃娃的盒子:Look at the box. This is for you.

      S1Thank you.引导学生问 Whats this?边说边拿出来

      T: Its a doll.

      S1: How nice!

      板书单词doll学生开火车读后小组拼读。

5.T拿出装有小球的盒子:Look at this box. Its for you

      S1Thank you. 引导学生问Whats this?

      T: Its a ball.

      S1: Great!

      板书单词ball学生开火车读后小组拼读。

6. T拿出装有机器人的盒子: Look at that box.

  S3,4,5引导学生问: Whats that?

  T(wisper):Its robot.

  Ssask together:Whats that?

  S5: Its a robot.

Learning tips 1:

当你离物品较近的时候我们用Whats this?来提问

离物品较远的时候我们可要用Whats that提问哦

T: Do you like this robot?

S5: Yes, I do.

T: This robot is for you.

S5: Thank you, Mrs Hua.

板贴单词robot,学生开火车读后小组拼读。

7. Say a chant.

   This, this, whats this?    That, that, whats that?

   Ball, ball, its a ball.    Robot, Robot, its a robot.

   Nice, nice, its nice.      Great, great, its great.

8. Game: Super plate.

   A: Whats that?

   B: Its a.

   A: Its for you.

   B: Thank you.

      T: These gifts are for you. Are you happy?

      Ss: Yes, we are very happy.

      T: If youre happy, lets sing and dance. Please stand up and sing the song Happy New Year!

   (播放歌曲Happy New Year!)

Ok, the song is finished. Sit down, please.

  

Step 3   Presentation and practice

1. T: Today youre happy, because youve got gifts. And Mikes family has many gifts, too. Lets go and see. Please watch the cartoon and answer my questions: Who are the gifts from? __C___

   AMikes father     B. Mikes grandpa      C. Uncle John

2. 学生问题在语篇中查找主要信息,厘清语篇层次。

T: Yes. Now please watch the cartoon again and I have two questions for you.(1)What holiday is coming?(2) Who are the gifts for?

(1)  T: What holiday is coming?

S6: New Years Day.

T: Why it is New Years Day? What do they say to each other?

S6: Happy New Year, Uncle John!

    Happy New Year.

    学生跟读对话第一部分。

(2)T: Who are the gifts for?

        S7: For Helen , Mike and Tim.

        T: Read the book and circle the gifts, then match the people and gifts.

Learning tips 2:

在西方国家当着主人的面,拆开送给自己的礼物可是一种有礼貌的行为哦!

 学生跟读对话第二部分。

3. 以小组为单位,选择喜欢的方式朗读。(分角色读、一人一句读、齐读等)

4. 以小组为单位进行对话表演。

5. Summary. 

  (1)如何向他人传递新年祝福:_____________.

  (2)如何赠送他人礼物:_______________.

  (3)如何向他人表示感谢:______________.

 

Step 4  Consolidation

1.     T: Boys and girls ,today Mike and Helen have a New Years party. Lets have a

party, OK? Look, what holiday is coming?屏显圣诞节图片

       Ss: Christmas.

       T: Yes. Lets have a Christmas party.

       屏显提示语Merry Christmas!                    Merry Christmas!

                   This is for you./Its for you.     Thank you.

                   Whats this/that?                  Its a….

全班四人一组,合作表演对话。请1-2组学生展示。

2. 学生四人小组自选情景,表演对话。

各小组交流反馈评比优胜。

3. 主体思想的升华。

T: Boys and girls, we should learn to share your things with love.学会爱学会分享。

3.布置家庭作业。

a. Read Unit 8 Story time after the tape.

b. Copy the new words: doll, ball, robot, for.

c. Look for the customs about other holidays.
